As a Courier and Parcel Officer, your role is critical to customer experience in ensuring freight or product is sorted, processed and dispatched correctly so our couriers receive it for delivery on time. A fork-hoist licence will be advantageous. In this dynamic job you will: Sort our customer’s parcels and freight based in our Port Road DepotDispatch correctly to our couriers to ensure they can deliver on timeHandle freight in a careful and professional mannerLiaise with various internal contacts to solve problems and raise issues where required To be successful in this role you will need to: Be available to work Tuesday to Saturday 12.00am – 08.00amBe a committed teammate who puts customers firstBe ready for a physically demanding role – heavy lifting is requiredEnjoy working hard and be confident managing your timeHave an accurate eye for detailHave good geographical knowledge At New Zealand Post, we know what values we hold and the exciting direction we are taking our business.
