This exciting leadership opportunity working across the Southern district. As part of the Strategy, Primary and Community Directorate, you will be responsible for leading the planning and implementation of the Covid-19 Vaccination programme. You will have proven experience leading large projects. This role has a strong strategic, service development and quality improvement focus that will see you working in partnership across the health system, to align with our vision and values.
No two days in this role will be the same as you will be managing a high performing team who value patient centred care. Strong leadership and project management skills will be invaluable to the success of programme.
Your responsibilities are focused on Business Planning and Service Planning and delivery, Strategic Management, Quality and Risk Management in a rapidly evolving landscape.
With tertiary qualifications (ideally in Health or Management), and leadership experience in a similar and relevant position elsewhere, your contribution will be valued and appreciated.
You can’t do this alone however, so your ability to lead and engage, and your approachability and commitment to success will be evident in the roles you’ve held previously and your aspirations for the future.
This role can be based in Invercargill or Dunedin, please indicate your preference in your cover letter.
