We are looking for a talented and experienced Full time supervisor who has a flare for customer service and the passion to assist the Customer Services Manager to ensure that our store delivers the best customer shopping experience possible.
It would be an advantage to have experience supervising and training staff within a busy retail or supermarket environment.
The successful candidate will:
Be an experienced checkout or retail supervisor with a minimum of six months experience handling the sale of alcohol
Hold a valid Liquor Controllers Certificate and a General Managers Certificate or be eligible to obtain these
Be able to work weekends and a mixture of morning and evening shifts
The ideal candidate will be:
Motivating and driven by helping other team members to exceed their expectations
Committed to maintaining high personal presentation standards of self and others
A people person with a focus on delivering a superior customer experience
An outstanding communicator who can remain calm and confident in high pressure situations.
Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with management of the checkout area, ensuring great customer service that is friendly, fast, efficient and accurate
Assisting with team training and development needs
Actively promoting health and safety and food safety initiatives throughout the department
Ensuring correct processes are followed for the sale and supply of age restricted products
