We are looking for an enthusiastic team member or possibly members to join our awesome team. Must be able to commit to at least 6 months but preference will be given to those that can stay longer. Position available to start now.

Jobs may include – setting up temporary fences (electric), moving cows around the farm (on a 2 wheeler), cleaning and maintaining the dairy and the farm, milking cows, identifying and caring for sick animals, feeding calves, driving tractors, quad bikes, 2 wheelers, and manual vehicles. 

As you can see there is a huge variety of jobs to keep every day interesting. Lots of experience is not essential as we can teach you everything as long as you want to learn it! However, having some practical experience in farming, working with large animals, working outdoors, labouring, or any other trades will be an advantage to you and the pay is negotiable to those with some experience.

We are located near the small town of Culverden – 1.5hrs from ChCh and 40 mins from Hamner Springs. 

An average of about 45-50 hours/wk. Fully furnished accommodation is available and rent for this will be deducted from your pay at $100/wk – this includes firewood, power, gas and internet use. We will provide you wet weather clothing and boots to use while you are here.

You must: – Have a valid work visa – Be able to legally drive a car in NZ – Be reliable to turn up to work – Be currently in NZ – Be physically fit and able to lift 20 kgs – Be enthusiastic about working on a dairy farm!
