About the role
As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for helping maintain operation of Police database systems and services. You will help clean things up if we are experiencing issues and more importantly, help us maintain processes and rules in place to ensure that our core systems function appropriately. You will also beresponsible for the provisioning, deployment, configuration, and administration of Police database systems.

This is a dynamic and challenging position, and the successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Experience in supporting/troubleshooting Oracle and DB2 Database systems in a large organisation;
2. Experience in Service Delivery in a large organisation;
3. Industry certification in a relevant field;
4. Be able to work in a high functioning engineering team; &
5. Successful applicant must be able to pass our Police vetting process and Drug and Alcohol testing.
