New Zealand Post are seeing a shift from mail to parcels and are constantly seeking ways to increase efficiencies and get our customers their orders on time, every time! We need someone who can do our delivery run on a motorcycle or walking,  based out of our Queenstown Depot branch on an on call basis. 

This role would suit someone looking to balance work with lifestyle, who can work independently and take control of their own deadlines to get the job done. You will have a high impact on the communities that you deliver in and will represent the New Zealand Post brand.

About the role

As an on call Delviery Agent, you will sort and organise parcels at the branch and carry out the delivery run as and when required, to members of your communities. You will need to stay on track come rain, hail or shine! You will have high energy levels and love striking up conversations with customers.

Some of the key things you’ll possess to successfully perform this role include:

  • The availability to work shifts between Mondays to Wednesdays 7.30 am to 13.30 pm and Thursdays to Friday 7:30 am to 2.05pm and Saturday 7.30 am to 2.00 pm
  • A minimum of learners Motorcycle NZ Driver’s License
  • Proven face to face customer service experience
  • Great coordination, dexterity and sensory skills
  • And a natural ability to communicate with your team mates and customers which develops trust and understanding
  • The ability to jump in and assist us with cover for peak volumes, staff leave or illness
