Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities brings together the three existing agencies of Housing New Zealand, HLC and KiwiBuild to form a new organisation.
We do amazing, important work. We contribute to thriving communities that provide New Zealanders with good quality, affordable homes. Our work supports people to have good access to jobs, amenities and services; as well as improving the well-being of current and future generations. We do this by being a world class public housing provider, and partnering with others to deliver urban development projects.
Ko tā mātou mahi – Our role
As a Development Manager your primary focus is to analyse and either manage, or help manage (dependent on project), the complete development process from new developments/redevelopments and site identification through to completion of the build.
You will also work closely with stakeholders as well as appointing and directing consultants, liaise and forge business relationships with private sector development partners.
You will be self managing, motivated, enthusiastic and be able to work in a supportive team and a mobile environment. You have the ability to think on your feet, make quality decisions, and solve problems.
