Ko tā mātou mahi – Our role

As a Development Manager your primary focus is to analyse and either manage, or help manage (dependent on project), the complete development process from new developments/redevelopments and site identification through to completion of the build.

You will also work closely with stakeholders as well as appointing and directing consultants, liaise and forge business relationships with private sector development partners.

You will be self managing, motivated, enthusiastic and be able to work in a supportive team and a mobile environment. You have the ability to think on your feet, make quality decisions, and solve problems.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu – What you will bring:

  • A commercial and results focus with strong experience gained directly in a property development, building or consulting company
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Have an understanding of the planning and consenting process
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of financial planning
  • Have great relationship management skills, combined with the confidence and capability to creditably engage in the market to achieve successful outcomes
  • High level of negotiating skills and computer excellence are also necessary as is a property qualification at tertiary level
