You will be working with the Beca team of passionate innovators, language, and technology experts, as the sales subject matter expert as Beca looks to take Frankly AITM to market through a proof of concept and commercialisation project.You will be part of a close-knit team who want to change how communities are listened to and engaged, through the application of artificial intelligence. You will be part of the team launching a conversational digital agent to consult and engage with communities in their first language, enabling the many views within communities to be heard and considered.This is a unique sales opportunity, within a rapidly evolving business start-up, yet with the backing, investment, and commitment from the Beca Group. You will be supporting business development through instigating, building, and developing client relationships, while owning sales pipeline management processes from generation, qualifying, proposal, negotiation, closing and delivery stages of the sales process. This role will be rewarding and challenging with plenty of ambiguity. However, you won’t be alone, having the support of Beca’s experts and colleagues as we build the sales team. Note this is a contract sales role, where you will be part of a small team of Digital Sales Consultants. Proficiency,connectivity, and credibility with tangata whenua, communities and Te Reo Māori would be an advantage.About YouYou will be passionate about social equity and the potential this technology enables through the capture of community aspirations, insights, and viewpoints. You will also be a relationship builder with excellent communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand different client drivers, needs and buyer types with the ability to pivot your style across the C-Suite through to engagement and stakeholder experts, as well as technology buyer requirements.You will have proven sales capability, taking technology related business offerings to market. You will be experienced and enjoy instigating sales, understanding client needs, scoping opportunities, identifying and resolving objections, closing and negotiating agreements, and ensuring solutions are delivered. You will be comfortable in asking questions and confident in Frankly AITM’s value proposition, as well as asking for the order. You will naturally bring sales rigour yet be adaptable to work with individual clients to secure sales of our Frankly AITM offering. You will be managing and progressing a mix of generated leads such as from industry events like Techweek, as well as connecting with current Beca client managers to identify, target and engage with new market segments. While being community and relationship based (we want to build positive, long term, mutually beneficial client relationships), this sales role will be outcome focused. Your targets and objectives will include securing sales, growing revenue and margin, and achieving product goals for this new offering.As Frankly AITM moves into its next stage of growth, supported through development by Beca’s innovation program, you will be playing a key part in the proof of concept for this offering. You will be comfortable with ambiguity and have scope to help refine and improve sales processes, collateral, proposal templates and have input into pricing discussions to match different client needs, while balancing the achievement of sales, revenue, and profitability requirements.
