Cloudbeds is looking for a dynamic, creative and operational minded Director of Sales Enablement. You?ll be responsible for establishing the playbook, strategy, and goals to deliver a world-class enablement program. Our future hire, should possess proven experience in the discipline and understands how to orchestrate across departments to deliver meaningful content, training, and coaching to sellers and sales managers, building trusted relationships that drive results to maximize salesperson effectiveness. This role is new at Cloudbeds and we will expect you to work with the current team and hire new members to deliver on our disruptive sales goals.
What You Will Do:
+ Lead the implementation and upkeep of a ?sales playbook? that lives inside our enablement and training platforms.
+ Focus primarily on five major workstreams?enablement strategy, sales tools and methodology, training processes and systems, and impact metrics and operational excellence for the team.
+ Responsible for all aspects of foundational and continuous learning programs for sales, including but not limited to training content creation, scheduling and coordination, creation and deployment or delivery of on-demand courseware, and instructor-led sales training.
+ Establish metrics and objectives for sales enablement and make recommendations for increasing sales productivity.
+ Provide training and reinforcement of best practices for all sales technology.
+ Supports the buying and selling processes at all stages, from lead generation through win/loss.
+ Develop and document the processes, standards, and rules of engagement that direct how Cloudbeds? sales staff conducts specific tasks and engages with prospects.
+ In conjunction with Sales Leadership and Sales Operations, establish and manage to a sales policy which establishes how Cloudbeds deals with key issues that affect members of the Sales team (i.e., role definition, organization structure, territory definition, account definition, parent/subsidiary account ownership, etc.)
+ Collaborate extensively with marketing, success and product to develop content and messaging that supports the sales teams efforts.
+ Planning various mediums and activities that create engagement and fun atmosphere while providing great training.
+ Identify and feedback opportunities and ideas for sales process improvement.
+ Responsible for tracking and analysis of courseware and sales enablement content usage.
+ Create a development program for sales leaders to ensure they have the skills, knowledge, processes, and tools required to lead their sales teams effectively. Successfully scale the enablement function based on the needs and growth of the company.
+ Partner with sales leadership and HR to establish a sales competency and assessment framework to ensure that the needs of salespeople and their managers are met.
You?ll Succeed With:
+ 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
+ 5+ years of enterprise sales experience or enterprise sales management experience
+ 5+ years of experience in sales training development and delivery
+ Extensive knowledge of sales enablement technologies, processes, and best practices
+ Extensive knowledge of sales training best practices (analysis, instructional design, delivery, implementation, and evaluation)
+ Extensive knowledge of modern sales methodologies, sales process, and buyer?s journey alignment
+ Extensive knowledge of sales management best practices, including pipeline management and developmental sales coaching
+ The ability to manage projects from concept to completion
+ High cultural awareness, adaptability, and the flexibility to work across time zones
+ Highly-developed training, presentation, and written communication skills
+ A history of making an impact and driving business outcomes
+ Expert level training and facilitation skills (both in-person and VILT)
+ Comfortable engaging and communicating with all levels ? must be able to conduct needs assessments with sales leadership at the highest levels
+ Past experience selling B2B solutions and/or managing B2B sales teams preferred
+ May accept less experience with verifiable proof of delivering business outcomes (increased velocity, increased win-rates, decreased rep ramp-up time, improving sales force performance)
