Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga is New Zealand’s leading Heritage organisation. 

Heritage New Zealand has exciting short and long term growth plans to increase the profile of heritage nationally.  The focus of the Organisational Development Directorate is to ensure that the organisation continues to develop its services in order to remain at the forefront of positive heritage outcomes. 

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive – Strategy, Policy and Corporate Services, the Director of Organisational Development  has responsibility for the delivery of a future focused business that includes the functions of business development, commercial property and asset management, publications, communications and media, funding development, membership management, project management, collection management and marketing and promotions management.

We are looking for an experienced, successful and creative Senior Manager with proven ability in developing future focused solutions.  Candidates need to be highly collaborative in their approach with the ability to manage work across a diverse range of functions to create effective shared outcomes.   Strong experience across business development, project planning and promotions management will be an advantage.

This is a key appointment for the ongoing growth and development of Heritage New Zealand.
