    Your Role;

    You’ll have a varied and exciting role that doesn’t come without it’s challenges.

    You will lead, coach and develop a team of client focused Service Managers to ensure continuous development and improvement remains at the forefront when delivering high quality services. Managing stakeholder relationships is an essential part of the role, which includes working closely with funders and referrers but also ensuring whānau are actively engaged and participating in the delivery and development of our services.

    You will be responsible for several intensive services including residences catering for whaiora with intellectual disability and rangitahi with sophisticated needs. As the District Manager, you will also ensure the operational, financial; HR and contract management needs of our services are being met .

    You will directly report to our Regional Manager for Southern Region covers Timaru, West Coast, and Nelson back down to Christchurch.

    What you need :

  • Health, Social Services, Human Services or Management related tertiary qualification is desirable
  • Proven management and leadership experience of multiple staff and stakeholders
  • At least 3 years proven experience in social services, mental health, addictions or the disability sector
  • Proven experience in leading diverse teams of staff and managing Human Resource issues
  • Passion for developing and leading cohesive and innovative teams
  • Flexibility to travel as required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence in IT literacy
