The Diversity & Inclusion Lead is a thought leader and expert in their field. This role is critical in architecting and delivering the diversity and inclusion strategy and agenda for ANZ New Zealand and the Pacific.
In this role, you would have the opportunity to:
Setting the Diversity and Inclusion strategy, priorities and deliverables for ANZ NZ & Pacific, as aligned to the wider ANZ Group D&I Strategy
Ensuring alignment with the wider NZ T&C People and Business Strategies
Actively engaging with key business stakeholders and provide leadership to ensure engagement and tangible actions are delivered in line with D&I strategy / agenda, including Affinity Groups and their sponsors.
Actively engage and build relationships with key external parties and partners eg Global Woman, Rainbow Tick etc
Provide thought leadership, and innovative solutions for ANZ NZ & Pacific on Diversity and Inclusion, including the formulation of actions to insights, recommendations associated with business and people processes, uplifting brand awareness and celebrating our steps to move our organisation forward.
Build the capabilities of people leaders to hire, build and grow a diverse and inclusive workforce
Monitor and measure the progress towards a Diverse and Inclusive workplace, leveraging established ANZ frameworks
Actively manage any Diversity and Inclusion budgets to ensure we are getting the most appropriate return on investment
Role Location: Wellington or Auckland
Role Type: Permanent
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Change Management – ability to identify opportunities and embed initiatives
Guidance – providing advice, recommendations and thought leadership, based on expertise and experience to address needs.
Relationship Management – building, maintaining and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Continuous Improvement – identifying opportunities and implementing changes to drive increased effectiveness
Data & Insights – Identifying insights and opportunities from multiple sources of data and information and contextualise to determine prioities and to make decisions
Influencing & Persuasion- to ensure buy in and engagement in strategies and initiatives
Experience or understanding of end to end diversity and inclusion strategy design, human centre design, developing and embedding initiatives
Diversity & Inclusion Organisational Development experience and expertise
