What you will do
As one of the Doctors based at Waiouru Military Camp, your primary focus will be to provide medical care to ensure uniformed NZDF personnel are fit to deploy and that they receive a high standard of comprehensive health care during their service with NZDF.

What we need
We are looking for a general practitioner with a minimum of two years post-graduation experience with, possibly with some experience working within rural medicine. This role covers a variety of aspects of medicine, however, a working knowledge of or interest in sport injuries would be advantageous.

Who we are
The Defence Health Centre in Waiouru provides occupational and primary health care, extended care for low acuity patients, and after hours care for military personnel working and living in the Waiouru Military Camp, as well as being part of the team for an incident until emergency services arrive. Waiouru is two hours drive from Palmerston North which means we need competent practitioners in our team who are comfortable providing medical care in a rural-type health care setting.
