About the role
At NZBS, Donor Technicians work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and are key members of the Collections team, undertaking venepuncture procedures related to blood collection and a number of administrative duties.
As our donors are healthy and go out of their way to give up their time to donate blood, customer service is key to ensuring the donors are provided with a donation experience that encourages their continued support.
The hours will generally be worked Monday to Friday, with some varying lengths of days so flexibility is required. Occasional weekend or statutory holiday duties may also be required.
We are looking for a hardworking Phlebotomist or Donor Technician (MLPAT) with full or provisional registration. Ideally you are:
Full orientation and training will be given to become a Qualified Donor Technician.
