Job DescriptionWe require an experienced Driver/Operator to join our friendly electrical team based in Petone!What we’re looking forDue to Fulton Hogan’s ongoing growth within the Region, we need a Driver/Operator to join our Electrical team based in Petone and deliver the good work Fulton Hogan is known for.The role You will be responsible for driving and operating machinery on electrical maintenance projects, adhering to client specification and work procedures. You will primarily be responsible for operating our bucket trucks. You will also be required to perform some manual labour, including acting as a ground worker for our Lineman and Electricians, so a good level of physical fitness is a must! You’ll also use your good people skills to build genuine and lasting relationships with our customers, and our people (we’re one big whanau). And you’ll have the skills and experience to help us achieve our strategic objectives. The skills we’re after At least 2 years’ experience within a civil construction environment.Class 2 with WTR endorsements essential, Class 4 preferred.Level 1 STMS ticket preferred.Good level of physical fitness with the ability to complete manual labour.An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match.Good attitude towards the maintenance and care of machinery.Be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Fulton Hogan Philosophy We build and maintain critical infrastructure that connects and enhances communities across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific.
