Our teams around the country work closely with the Early Childhood and Schooling sectors, providers, and communities to provide support, expertise and resources to help children and young people reach their full potential.
We also directly provide Learning Support for around 40,000 children and young people.
The Ministry’s highest priorities are to raise achievement for all. Participation in quality early learning is a priority. This role will give you the opportunity to work collaboratively with the sector, parents, families and whānau and communities to develop local solutions that will increase participation and improve quality early learning provision.
About this role
Education Advisors take a lead role in the licensing, certification of early childhood education (ECE) services. This requires excellent relationship management skills and an in depth knowledge of the early childhood education sector at a senior level.

The position is a fixed-term fulltime role from December 2019 until July 2020 to cover a period of parental leave. The successful candidate will be based in the Rotorua Office of the Bay of Plenty – Waiariki region. They will join a supportive and performance-driven team environment.
