Located in contemporary offices in Highbrook, Auckland, we are now extending an invitation to ecommerce “gurus” to apply for our  eCommerce Business Manager  vacancy in our New Zealand business. 

The electrical industry is undergoing a disruptive shift, and customers demand greater access to product online. As part of the Pacific eCommerce team, you will help drive this disruption within our channel, and in turn act as a key facilitator of growth for the PDL and Schneider brands, and our distribution partners across New Zealand. 

We need someone who knows how to create, navigate, and lead those around you on a “greenfield” ecommerce journey! 

Reporting to the Country President, New Zealand, and working in collaboration with our existing Sales team, you will be responsible for driving ecommerce online sales initiatives. You will use your existing knowledge and capabilities to support local teams in growing e-business results through distributors and e-tailers. 

Optimising the use of e-business related activities you will: 

  • Create online sales campaigns 
  • Create campaign budget plans in cooperation with local stakeholders. 
  • Ensure consistent workflows, rollout/release plans and reporting structures 
  • Establish comprehensive e-marketing tools and instruments based on local needs (SEA, SEO, Affiliate, Retargeting, Mobile Marketing, Google analytics and other tools) 
  • Define target agreements based on defined online/e-business KPIs 
  • Measure the target achievements 
  • Create online sales concepts, customer journeys based on ROI driven business models.

  • Highly developed knowledge of e-marketing principles and methodologies 
  • A good understanding of the technologies and platforms relevant to the delivery of eCommerce activities 
  • Proven ability to develop e-marketing tools and instruments 
  • Capability to understand various business cultures 
  • Ability to communicate a compelling vision, define a common cause and build motivation 
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills 
  • Strong analytical ability 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
