Join our fun and hardworking team., Develop your skill set with exposure to instrumentation work., Get variety in your work – Clients across New Zealand..ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN We are seeking an Electrical Technician and Instrument Technician (or willing to learn Instrumentation) to join our skilled team. The successful applicant will be based in Taupo and will work in the central North Island (Taupo and Hamilton) predominantly but further travel throughout New Zealand may be required. The Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of instruments and electrical equipment located at our clients sites. The Technician will perform inspections, calibration, repair, testing, installation, and removal of instrument/electrical equipment and systems. Key responsibilities Electrical projects, installations and panel wiring. Electrical Maintenance, shift coverage and breakdowns. Calibrate, troubleshoot and repair plant instrumentation i.e. transmitters, control valves, switches, solenoids etc. Work with MCCs, VSDs and Motors Required qualifications and skills NZ Certificate Level 4 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). NZ Electrical Licence. Full NZ Drivers Licence. Other desired qualifications and skills NZ Certificate Level 4 in Industrial Measurement and Control (Instrumentation or equivalent). Resilience and a positive attitude. Experience working in Dairy. Strong organisation with the ability to meet deadlines.
