Be part of a supportive and collaborative team who provide expert employment relations advice and support to the business and manage potential risk to the organisation. In this role, you would have the opportunity to: Use your employment relations knowledge and experience to provide timely, accurate and commercial advice on a broad range of employment issues. Manage varied and sometimes complex ER cases from beginning to end Assist managers to build the necessary knowledge and skills to manage employment issues. Be involved in employment relations and broader HR projects with both NZ and global scope. Work as part of a collaborative and supportive team of employment relations professionals. Role Location: Auckland or Wellington Role Type: Fixed Term – approx. 9 months About You To grow and be successful in this role, you will bring the following: A solid understanding of employment legislation, including the Employment Relations Act, Human Rights Act and Holidays Act. The ability to provide accurate, timely and practical advice on all employment relations matters. Experience managing a wide range of employment relations cases including misconduct, poor performance, absence and illness issues, bullying and harassment complaints and personal grievances. Superior influencing, writing and verbal communication skills. A demonstrated ability to apply sound judgement and commercial acumen.
