About the role – He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga

Our Kōrure Whānau kaimahi support whānau by providing integrated services that wrap around our whānau in the social, health, education and justice areas. The roopu are currently seeking a confident facilitator with a passion to support the local community working within the Engaging Priority Families Contract. The focus of the engaging priority families role is to increase the early learning foundations of 3 to 4 year old tamariki. Supporting the families/whanau to engage with early learning at home and to increase the ECE of their children/tamariki, to enable an effective transition of the children/tamariki to school/kura and to continue to be involved with their education. 

In this rewarding role you will be developing learning plans and encourage families/whanau to participate in ECE learning. Support the families/whanau to access assistance from other agencies for non-educational social needs and liaise with other government and non-government agencies to enable referrals.
