About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for Enrolled Nurses who are experienced in working in a team, following instructions and who get a thrill out of making a huge difference to the experience of our donors. Whether you’re collecting blood products or advising donors on health education at our mobile and donor rooms, you will play a key role in the work your team does. You will be working in a unique part of the health sector, where although you are not working as part of a DHB, you are still caring for people and making a huge difference to patient outcomes.
The hours will generally be worked Monday to Saturday, with some varying lengths of days so flexibility is required. Occasional statutory holiday duties may also be required.
As our donors regularly go out of their way to give up their time to donate blood, great customer service is key to ensuring they have an amazing donation experience that encourages their continued support.
We welcome enquiries from experienced Enrolled Nurses who will utilise their skills, knowledge and have experience in working with diverse teams.
