You’ll work alongside other senior nurses, and wider team members in planning and providing rehabilitation to our patients. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and expertise in rehabilitation with medical, orthopaedic and neurological conditions including stroke.
Ideally you would be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of optimising patient outcomes and facilitating effective rehabilitation using a patient centred and evidence-based approach to goal setting and intervention.
In addition, you will have enthusiasm and a willingness to commit to our team and patients. You will be expected to be active in-service quality initiatives, therefore be proactive, innovative and have a quality driven approach.
We take pride in supporting our staff to grow as a nurse working in this speciality, so we run an ongoing support and professional development programme including regular team in-services, senior staff mentoring and a comprehensive competency training framework, and access to course and conference funding.
For this permanent role covering the service, you will need to be a New Zealand registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate.
