Golder has a new opportunity for an Environmental Acoustics Engineer to join our consultancy team on a full-time basis based in **Auckland or Christchurch .**

**Within this role, the successful applicant will work closely with the Principal Leader in a consultant capacity and in line with Golder’s Global Professional Level Guidelines to continuously promote and improve the services the group provides. Golder Associates services a broad range of global and local clients to meet their needs.**

**Key duties and responsibilities include:**

+ **Provision of expert/specialist advice in areas of specialty, namely acoustics**

+ **Preparation of technical reports, including the analysis and interpretation of technical data**

+ **Proven skills in environmental noise measurement and computer modelling**

+ **Support the growth of the acoustic business by maintaining existing clients**

+ **The ability to develop new business relationships and market the Group’s services**

+ **Expertise in building noise and vibration**

+ **Experience in the preparation of evidence and presentation at planning hearings**

+ **The ability to represent Golder Associates where and when required**

+ **Have a high level of enthusiasm for the role, displaying a willingness to learn and develop**

**Skills, Qualifications, and Experience**

+ **The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team**

+ **Excellent verbal and written communication skills**

+ **Strong technical writing ability and reporting skills**

+ **Proven ability to complete tasks on time and within budget**

+ **Solid organisational and time management skills**

+ **Proficiency with Microsoft Office software such as word, excel, power point and outlook**

+ **A current unrestricted NZ driving licence or equivalent**

+ **Flexibility and willingness to travel**

+ **Suitably tertiary qualified or post-graduate qualification**
