What we need
An experienced Equipment/Fleet Manager that has a background in supply chain management, a strong understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and data communication technologies.
You’ll require a good understanding of the current/in-service communications systems and their support elements, as well as a thorough understanding of health and safety requirements and a relevant qualification.
Your skills in leadership, problem solving, risk management and prioritisation will be crucial to your success in this role, as well as a high level of attention to detail, experience in the use of a corporate ERP system (such as SAP or Oracle) and strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical language and complex information into effective communications.
Who we are
The Defence Equipment Management Organisation (DEMO) will provide a single point of accountability for the through-life management of non-platform equipment across the Land, Air and Maritime environments thereby ensuring that the equipment receives consistent strategic management whilst in service in NZDF.
This organisation will be accountable for the day to day delivery of strategic management of equipment and the associated through life Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) enabling NZDF to meet its operational objectives.
