We are looking for an Events Manager to join our award-winning team of events experts based in Auckland.

He aha tāu e mahi ana – what you’ll be doing

You will manage a diverse portfolio of physical, hybrid and virtual business events that support the delivery of key NZTE objectives. You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager and Event Coordinators to scope project deliverables, project plan, budget and manage stakeholders, all with a best practice approach and keen eye on the detail.

You will need to be an experienced Events Manager who thrives on delivering modern, world-class business events. You’ll have a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver events of all shapes and sizes and be someone who establishes relationships quickly, builds trust and confidence, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

The following skills are a must for this role:

  • Proven experience – at least five years’ experience managing small to large business events
  • Great at communicating – can clearly articulate messages across communications channels, skilled in storytelling
  • Relationship builder – enjoys working with diverse groups of stakeholders
  • Highly organised and planned – works effectively within systems and operating models to deliver results
  • Tech savvy – comfortable using a range of event management software. Experience using MS Dynamics for Marketing is desirable
