Te Kei region covers the provinces of Otago and Southland, totalling approximately 25% of New Zealand’s land area including some of the most diverse landscapes and land uses in the country. In Te Kei you’ll be working closely together with your Region Manager, Region Leadership Team and corporate and support personnel to support nearly 100 brigades delivering front line services so communication will be key to this role.
We need you to bring your expert executive level support abilities to our organisation and in return you’ll receive our full support and opportunities to develop a great future. You’ll focus on providing a first-rate support service to your Region Manager – organising their busy schedule and acting as a first point of contact on their behalf. Your flair for organisation, time management, communication and stakeholder engagement will shine, as you efficiently manage a high workload and a busy diary and respond to enquiries – essentially doing whatever’s needed.
You’ll be an expert at proactively troubleshooting and horizon scanning, you’ll be politically savvy and you’ll be experienced at expertly managing and influencing on behalf of your Region Manager. Teamwork is essential in this position as you’ll work closely with the wider regions.
You’re experienced at providing exceptional support at an executive level, so your professionalism and adaptability will match this position’s importance, diversity and pace. Your interpersonal skills are outstanding, and you demonstrate initiative and a positive approach to tasks.
