What you will do

As the Executive Support Coordinator you will provide secretarial and administrative support services to the Royal NZ Air Force Chief Engineer.  

You will also be responsible for:

  • Coordinating travel and accommodation bookings for the executive team;
  • Developing stakeholder relationships to ensure a key contact database is maintained;
  • Financial purchases and processing of claims and expenses;
  • Managing information and databases to ensure everything is up to date.

What we need

To be successful in this role you will be a self-motivated individual who has the ability to manage your own time and can display sound judgement to solve problems.   You will be an experienced administrator or coordinator and able to operate on your own.  

Additionally you will need to have;

  • A high level of computer literacy with a proficient use of MS Office suite;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to relate to a wide range of people;
  • Experience working within an office environment, ideally in a coordination or administrative support role.

Who we are

The purpose of the Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE) is to be an enabler for the NZDF delivery of effective military air capabilities through the development of a suitably qualified and experienced technical workforce. The OCE supports the implementation of the Chief Engineer’s orders and instructions, through monitoring of quality systems and continued improvement of technical/aeronautical policies and training, processes, regulations, standards and specifications. The OCE is responsible for specialist project work and the management of engineering officer training, postings/appointments.
