The role | Mō te tūnga
Due to a secondment we have a fantastic fixed term opportunity for an Experience Assurance Engineer to join our DBS Analytics team commencing in January 2021 for approximately seven months.
As the Experience Assurance Engineer you will use your analytical and communication skills to elicit, understand and test the requirements for business issues, functions and processes. You will work as part of a team and alongside business users, Analyst Developers and System Engineers.
You’ll be responsible for creating test scenarios/test cases and automation tests, according to business requirements, ensuring data integrity for some of our household surveys and the Integrated Data Infrastructure (IDI).
A component of this fixed term role will be the use of analytical skills to write/execute SQL queries for data transformation and manipulation, to ensure data quality and data integrity in our evolving Datahub (Hadoop) platform.
An ability to write/execute J-unit and Groovy automation tests is highly desirable such that automation is happening in other phases/environments using an Azure DevOps pipeline.
You will also work in the complete lifecycle of projects, delivering high-quality data solutions using DevOps (Agile delivery methodologies).
Salary is $70,000 to $80,000 depending on skills and experience
