The role | Mō te tūnga

 Your broad role as an Experience Assurance Engineer will be to:

  • Utilise broad UX skills and coding practices to ensure a product is usable, stable, and attractive to the end user
  • Conduct both manual and automated tests as appropriate to ensure the solution meets needs and achieves business outcomes
  • Contribute to the design process, providing UX expertise and advocating for the user and their needs
  • Provide direct support to our users to ensure the solution they require are fully functional and provides the required experience for the user
  • Develop and maintain the automation of repeatable processes and activities contributing to an improved experience for our users
  • Monitor solution against performance and user sentiment to identify trends or improvement opportunities, identifying solutions, and working with your team to implement it
  • Provide support and ongoing optimisation of solutions already in production
  • Engage with our business to understand their needs and requirements, providing analysis and insights accordingly 

About you | Mōu

You will be working in our Auckland office with one other person from our team doing a lot of work to support our users and improve their experience with technology as part of our wider team across all 3 offices in Auckland/Wellington/Christchurch.

Good communication and a focus on providing great user experience is key to the role.

It is a reasonably technical role but as it is a new role and in the process of transitioning from a standard desktop support role into this new position.

We will be providing upskilling and training in a variety of areas as this is a new role but experience of testing, automation and UX is beneficial.
