PwC’s purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems.
Working together can be hard. People have different perspectives, alignments, motivations, skills, beliefs, and responsibilities – that need to find ways to fit together in order to solve complex problems. The Experience Consulting team creates ways for people – communities, organisations, governments – to collaborate on complex social issues. Additionally, we focus on reshaping the experiences New Zealanders have with organisations, businesses and our government, so that they might continue to deliver impactful change for Aotearoa.

You’ll be joining the Experience Consulting team based in Wellington. We are looking for impact-driven people to join our rōpū, who are ready to hustle and make a meaningful difference for our clients and Aotearoa. You need to be collaborative, strategic, and solution-focused.
You’ll be working with a great team of committed people, who will embrace the skills and strengths you bring. Fundamentally we are all Human Centered designers – we design with outcomes in mind and people front and centre. This means we bring the following to the table:

Customer Experience (CX) & Analytics
Customer Journey mapping (CJM) / Service blueprints
Ethnography & Qualitative Customer Insight
User testing / Interviews
Storytelling has lived at the heart of culture since time began. Today, strategic narrative design helps simplify complexity, make it accessible and connect people with its true intent. This includes:
What would you be doing?

We are collaborative by nature, and partner with clients and experts alike to combine global best practice human centred design, te ao Māori principles and subject matter specialists. Right now our team are involved in community and government engagement, developing design and strategy hubs, supporting the strengthening of Crown-Maori relationships, and conducting customer research.
What do you need to bring to the role?
A strong understanding and appreciation for the design of a process
An innate ability to absorb and synthesise complex information, and articulate it in a clear and concise manner. Confidence to articulate insights and solutions across all levels of an organisation.
Collaborative, flexible and adaptable working style that operates with a growth mindset.
Effective problem solving skills that balance the divergent views of stakeholders
Clear communication that brings clarity and credibility to a wide range of senior leaders and executives.
A solid work ethic coupled with a capacity to turn-around tasks/deliverables rapidly, resulting in a consistent throughput of work outcomes
Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to apply patience, empathy and a collaborative approach to complex challenges
Be high functioning and effective, while straddling the balance between being driven and collaborative
