The Role:

Reporting to the Glazing Supervisor and the branch manager in Hamilton, our client is looking for experienced, trade certified, experienced Glaziers to undertake the hands-on installation of glass into residential and commercial buildings.

This role is responsible glass installations in both commercial and residential sites. Working hours are 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday.

Salary will be based on expereince.

The successful applicant will require:

  • Proven experience as a Glazier in both commercial and residential glass (minimum 3 years)
  • New Zealand Certificate in Glazing (Level 4) – for manufacturing glass or installing glass in buildings
  • Previous experienced in frameless glass installation, balustrades and showers.
  • Good Communication skills and the ability to deal with customers.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
  • Ability to solve problems on the run and assist leading hands to implement new systems.
  • Full drivers’ licence.
  • Skill in cutting, smoothing, and installing glass.
  • An understanding and adherence to industry Health and Safety procedures
