With their current growth being driven by the manufacture of new equipment, they are now looking to add a Fabricator / Welder to their teamRole Description:The role primarily involves fabrication / welding and assembly of components for manufacturing, repair of heavy transport truck equipment and forestry-related equipment.Responsibilities will include: Maintain and respect company and client equipment and propertyAdhere to company policies and is responsible for own safety and that of othersMaintain a clean and tidy work areaCarry out all tasks / operations as directed by the relevant supervisorIdentify hazards prior to commencing work and uses suitable controls to work safely This role will suit someone with the following background / experience / qualities: Relevant trade qualificationExperience in heavy fabrication / modification including excavator conversions and heavy truck trailer manufactureIs equipped with the correct tools and safety equipment for each jobSkilled with high-quality workmanship and willing to learn and upskillGood communication skillsPass regular drug and alcohol tests About the company:Our client employs approximately 100 employees working on the following expertise: jobbing work, industrial plant maintenance, structural steelwork, forestry equipment and fit-out, truck-and-trailer repair and new-build, agriculture and vineyard equipment manufacture.
