FACILITIES OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR
Te Papa is seeking an Administrator to support our Facilities Operations team. We are looking for someone who is positive, friendly, customer focussed, and who can think on their feet and arrive at workable solutions, and enjoys supporting others. The successful candidate will need to be able to use MS Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word & Excel) and familiarity with account payable or purchase order practices would be an advantage.
This is not an ordinary Administrator role and a typical day may include: coordinating a range of facilities help desk requests and ensuring appropriate action is arranged; liaising with and coordinating external contractors undertaking maintenance within Te Papa; a general array of administrative tasks including replenishing stationery hubs; receipting and management of Facilities Operations purchase orders; and providing back-up relief to our team Te Papa reception area.
