Therapist/Social Worker – Bay of Plenty

  • This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact through your work. You will be working with rangatahi and their whānau in their own home and support and enable them to thrive in their communities.

    We are seeking a registered health professional (e.g., Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Social Worker, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist) under the HPCA or Social Work Board who is enthusiastic about working as a family/whanau therapist.

    You will have a unique opportunity to be trained in Functional Family Therapy (FFT) which is an evidence-based approach where the practitioner provides weekly family/whanau therapy sessions in the families own homes.

    About you

  • Registered health professional under the HPCA Act or Social Work registration.
  • Passionate about working with whānau and rangatahi.
  • Can work flexible hours and has great time management.
  • Full driving license
  • Be able to obtain a clearance from the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) and Police vetting.
