About the role:

We have an opportunity to join the Waikato File Management Centre in Hamilton. The File Management Centre is a dynamic workgroup that completes varied data entry tasks to support frontline staff which enables them to deliver Our Business.

As a File Management Support Officer (FMSO) you will be supporting police officers and victims of crime by creating, updating and managing files within the Police NIA system. You will use multiple systems, including transcription software, to receive the information from frontline staff, to enter files, charges and warnings.

This is a shiftwork position, working a rotating rostered with other teams to provide coverage between 0600 and 2200 hours, 7 days a week.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Creating and updating files within the NIA system
  • Entering and submitting charges to court
  • Quality assessment of OnDuty and other incoming work
  • Daily records management
