Spida Machinery – Finance and Office AdministratorExciting opportunity for a Finance and Office Administrator for our Machinery Manufacturing Division in TaurangaWell established company in the Bay of PlentyCompetitive remuneration Building the most compelling mix of machinery for the frame and truss industry since 1978, Spida Machinery is a leading supplier to the New Zealand, Australian and US frame and truss fabrication markets. We are now seeking the services of a Finance & Office Administrator to contribute to the success of our high-tech machinery fabrication plant here in New Zealand. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the primary focus of this role will be to manage our payables and receivables processes, payroll and GST/FBT returns and general office duties. In addition, the role will provide support in the preparation of monthly financial management accounts. Your broad experience with financial accounting practices and systems and the ability to problem solve will see you build success in this company. This position is based in our manufacturing plant located in Tauranga.To be considered for this position the successful candidate will have: A well-rounded experience of payables, receivables, payroll and GST/FBT returns.Experience in taking financial accounts to trial balance. You will understand general ledger reconciliations and the basic principles involved in the preparation of financial accounts.Experience gained in a manufacturing environment preferred.An aptitude for business information systems and the ability to quickly go beyond the basics and become a support to others.Some experience with a US-based business, as you will support and mentor a US accounts person – some experience of the US environment is desirable.Great communication and interpersonal skillsA positive attitude that will carry you through the day regardless.Spida is growing rapidly in New Zealand and the USA.
