The purpose of the Health and Disability Commissioner is to promote and protect health and disability services consumers’ rights and to facilitate the fair and efficient resolution of complaints relating to infringement of those rights.

 

We are looking for a talented and experienced Finance Manager to ensure the finance function is managed in an efficient and effective manner. Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, you will be a key member of the Corporate Services Team.

 

You will need:

  • Proven experience in financial reporting and management accounting skills
  • Soft skills to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to reach a desired outcome within a limited timeframe
  • Experience in maintaining a robust controlled environment and providing practical business solutions
  • Highly developed analytical and effective communication skills
  • To be an energetic and resilient professional adept at understanding business dynamics and effectiveness
  • A demonstrated focus on quality and take initiative on continuous improvements
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • An appropriate tertiary degree and professional qualification (CA or CPA).
