About the roleThe Configuration Management Senior Specialist (Fixed Asset Configuration Specialist) is focused on the management of AvSec’s security equipment assests and their configuration layouts, both individually and as part of a security installation integrated with other equipment. This will include the data capturing of information relating to the hardware, firmware and software configurations and version for all equipment, and their deployments in security installations, management of the configuration change process to ensure the integrity of the security screening processes. The role will support life-cycle management, arranging or identifying equipment replacement and disposals as necessary. The Configuration Senior Specialist will: Be responsible for the up keeping of the data within our Asset management software system Be the point of contact for configuration change requests Work with our maintenance suppliers and operation throughout the country to establish and maintain the asset grouping and configuration structures of our assets Manage the disposal and exiting of assets from the asset inventory when and when required Have opportunity to develop and manage new process and instructions related to the asset configurations of all AvSec security assets What we’re looking for We are ideally looking for an individual who has a background in asset management and asset system configuration control with associated asset management software program experience. Understanding of reliability and asset performance reporting as well as preventative maintenance principles on fixed assets. You will need to be able to obtain and maintain a Confidential level security clearance and be either a NZ citizen or permanent resident. You will be willing to travel nationally on occasion as part of this role. Why join us?
