We are looking for a Funding Advisor – Production with substantial experience in film & TV financing and market knowledge to assist our Premium Fund Team to help assess applications for the Premium Production Fund. This contract role will start early September and finish mid-November (approximately 10 weeks). This is a full-time position. This role could be based either in our Wellington or Auckland Office. They role will report to the Head of Development and Production but work closely with the Senior Executives of the Premium Fund. What you need to bring to the role: Proven International market and finance knowledge Feature film /TV multi-financing background is essential Minimum of 5+ years? experience in a screen or film related role e.g., sales, production. Understanding of the screen process, structures (including deal structures), best practice and commercial terms. Strong interpersonal skills Creative experience including in reading scripts. A high level of financial and commercial acumen ? analysing finance plans, cashflows, drawdown schedules and other documentation Ability to identify original and exciting cinematic ideas in markets that represent sound investment decisions Self-directing organisational skills Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and CRM/Databases Strategic thinker Excellent verbal and written communications skills including an enthusiastic interpersonal style that promotes effective communication The ability to maintain confidentiality and to recognize and respect sensitive material or information.
