Our Professional Development function is transforming alongside the organisation and we are looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead this transformation. As a member of the Corporate Services Leadership Team and reporting directly to the DCE, Corporate Services, you will lead the development and delivery of the learning strategy, professional development approaches, and the organisation wide professional development delivery plan.
Through this you will provide a significant contribution to delivering Oranga Tamariki’s plan through initiatives, systems and processes that grow the quality of our professional practice and practice leadership dimensions of capability across the workforce.
What will you bring?
Working collaboratively with multiple functions, and both internal and external stakeholders, you will have excellent liaison and consultation skills and the ability to persuade at a senior level. You will have a proven knowledge and understanding of professional practice, social services delivery, training, assessment and regulatory standards, along with the ability to oversee the delivery of complex inter-related projects.
