With our Customers’ expectations changing significantly through global digital and eCommerce development, we are seeing unprecedented online demand driving massive parcel growth – expected to double within seven years and we are setting ourselves up for success to be the best delivery business for New Zealand.We are creating a new way of operating to meet this demand – enabled by a collaborative organisational model combining strong operational leadership with end-to-end process expertise.Reporting to the COO, working across our Customer Service Delivery (CSD) division as GM Processing and Automation you will be accountable for the running of our parcel and mail processing facilities to the highest standard, achieving ‘world class’ safety, service, cost and people outcomes. Additionally, you will Be the Business Owner for the Processing of product within NZ Post. This will include responsibility for the design & set-up the operating model for our processing operations that will ensure we deliver required performance now and for the future.Collaboration across the Enterprise to ensure that critical enablers of the operating model are in place.Ensure standardised ways of operating are defined for all processing related sites within NZ Post, working in collaboration with productcDelivery teams. Critically you will lead the team supporting the multi-site, multi-year transformation of Processing capability across NZ Post. This includes the shape and development of the multi-year roadmap across each processing capability area and site level detailing key steps and timings to reach target maturity.Leadership of the Processing & Automation team to plan and execute transformation to meet implementation parameters (time, cost, quality) and performance outcomes.Ensure effective implementation of strategic initiatives to achieve target maturity levels within existing parcel and mail sites. To feature as a candidate for this role you will bring a significant portfolio of experience within the logistics/supply chain industries demonstrating deep understanding of the complexity around the processing and making fit for delivery large scale volumes of product. This experience will likely have been developed within New Zealand and overseas.
