– Newly created Senior Role- Lead Operational Strategy and Process PerformanceThe Customer Service Delivery function is the engine room of New Zealand Post. With our Customers’ expectations changing significantly through global digital and eCommerce development, we are seeing unprecedented online demand driving massive parcel growth – expected to double within seven years and we are setting ourselves up for success to be the best delivery business for New Zealand.We are creating a new way of operating to meet this demand – enabled by a collaborative organisational model combining strong operational leadership with end-to-end process expertise.Reporting to the COO, working across our Customer Service Delivery (CSD) division – this new role will lead development of our future network capability, innovation and design processes from ideation (strategy, problem solving) through concept prototyping and test to implementation.Additionally, the role will also lead the annual business planning, governance and oversight of strategic initiatives ensuring benefit outcomes are delivered upon.Furthermore, you will lead the team that will develop Operational Excellence capabilities for both Parcels and Mail, with scope covering all aspects of continuous improvement, process design and engineering and supporting the creation of a culture of high performance. To fill this unique role – we seek a senior leader who will bring with them significant experience – likely gained in NZ and further afield, in logistics management and design and implementation of operational strategies. A supreme collaborator, you will be fluent working across an organisation, developing strong and sustainable relationships.
