We are looking for an enthusiastic person with this mix of skills to join our Democracy Services and Advice Team to provide parental leave cover for a period of approximately eight months. You will be responsible for providing meeting and general administrative support, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, managing meeting requirements and coordinating diaries and correspondence.
We need someone with great organisational and written skills who can work quickly, apply initiative and maintain confidentiality at all times. You should also be someone who prides themselves on professionalism and can communicate confidently. As such, strong English language skills and a high degree of accuracy are essential, as is the ability to get to grips quickly with new IT systems.
You might have experience working in the local government sector or for another governance body, but if you’re a fast learner and keen to grow your skills, we’d like to hear from you too. This is an exciting role, within a dynamic organisation where you can make a real contribution to the community.
