About the role

 

The Evidence Based Policing Centre is seeking applications for a Graduate Research Insights Advisor. The purpose of this role is to provide applied technical research expertise to the Evidence Based Policing Centre. As a Graduate Research Insights Advisor, you will assist with qualitative and quantitative research and analysis, and the synthetisation of literature.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Robust and insightful contribution to develop a research-informed evidence base across a wide range of topics of interest to New Zealand Police
  • Collaborative work with colleagues across the Evidence Based Policing Centre and New Zealand Police, enhancing the mana and waiora of others
  • Contribute to a high performing team and continuous improvement in a dynamic work environment

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience in a relevant research field
  • Understanding of Māori customs and values (Whanaungatanga, Rangatiratanga, Manaakitanga, Wairuatanga and Kaitiakitanga) and Kaupapa Māori research principles would be advantageous
