The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver quality teaching and learning on our suite of Hairdressing programmes. This programme is developed for students seeking careers in Hairdressing across a range of skills.

 

In this position you will be working with a team of experienced educators within the Hospitality and Service Industries Department.

 

 

Skills/Experience

 

  • Hairdressing qualification
  • Hold unit standards 4098 & 11522 (an advantage but not essential)
  • At least 7 years’ continuous working within the hairdressing industry which is recent and concurrent
  • A strong network of existing industry contacts
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Teaching qualifications and/or experience is an advantage but not essential
  • Capable of working with & supporting a wide diversity of students
  • Demonstrated ability to be able to build skills and motivate others to achieve
