The Team: What we do
Community and Public Health provides public health services to people living in Canterbury, South Canterbury and West Coast regions. We aim to improve the health of our communities and reduce inequalities in health status.
As part of our WAVE (Well-being and Vitality in Education) team working in our Community and Public Health Timaru office, as a Health Promoter you’ll work in partnership with education and community agencies to promote healthy nutrition and healthy lifestyles with a focus on Oral Health for under 5’s. Your role may also include providing a home visit oral health service to under 5’s and their families.
This is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity (40 hours per week) covering parental leave until approximately March 2021. The days and hours required for this position are Monday – Friday with flexible start and finish times.
