ACC’s vision is to create a unique partnership with every New Zealander, improving their quality of life by minimising the incidence and impact of injury.

The Health Sector Strategy is an initiative that aims to make ACC more focused on collaboration and partnerships with providers to improve client outcomes. It defines how ACC will work with providers from now and into the future.

The strategy outlines how ACC will develop and use data to create meaningful insights to help develop improved clinical pathways for clients and manage spend and improve client rehabilitation outcomes. It is also testing an outcome-based commissioning model to incentivise providers to achieve the best results for clients.

The Health Sector Strategy Technology Lead is responsible for facilitating the design and delivery of technology solutions to enable the successful delivery of Health Sector Strategy projects and business as usual. You will build and maintain a Health Sector Strategy technology roadmap consistent with the intent of the HSS and the wider ACC Technology strategy.

What we are looking for from you to be successful in this role:

  • You understand technology opportunities and requirements
  • Relevant work experience in delivering technology projects
  • Experience in technical and digital channel solution development and delivery
  • Working knowledge of tech enabled system and process improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to network, influence and build strong relationships
  • Understanding of the Heath Sector and front-line ACC roles
  • High level of collaboration, co design, facilitation, and negotiation, communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to achieve with a customer-centric mind-set
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills

You will need strong stakeholder and relationship building skills to effectively manage the relationship between Provider Service Delivery and ACC Technology and Digital teams, ensuring delivery of the PSD technical roadmap.

The delivery team is responsible for the implementing key change initiatives that will enable ACC to realise the Strategy. The team consists of Project Managers, Coordinators and the Subject Matter Expertise required to drive the change and will be going through an exciting growth period as the Health Sector Strategy ramps up.
