About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a Healthcare Assistant to work alongside our District Nurses in the dynamic, challenging and constantly changing environment of Community Nursing.

Under the direction of the senior nurse on shift you will assist in direct patient care in the community, undertake some clerical duties, restocking and ordering of supplies and general needs to ensure the smooth running of the department.

About you

We are particularly interested in hearing from Healthcare Assistants who have experience in patient care settings, are dynamic, friendly and demonstrate a high level of initiative. Experience within a community setting is not essential but would be an advantage. . District Nursing is ideally looking to appoint a casual Healthcare Assistant to its evening service (rostered duties 6-10pm, 2 evenings per week, Monday to Sunday). A full, clean driver’s license is essential.
