The Central Agency Shared Services (CASS) Human Resources team is a unit of the Treasury that provides corporate services for two central agencies: the Treasury and Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). We have a fantastic opportunity for talented HR Coordinator to join our friendly small HR team working with DPMC.

As our HR Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the DPMC HR team with business as usual activities across a range of HR functions including advisory, recruitment, training and development. You will also be responsible for providing HR generalist advice on routine enquires and delegating and escalating other enquires either received from the HR inbox, over the phone or face-to-face. This role also presents significant scope to provide assistance on HR projects and initiatives across a wide range of areas.

  • Co-ordinating and supporting reporting, survey and work-plan delivery
  • Supporting data quality and position management
  • Managing our security clearance processes
  • Recruitment, staff induction and workshop support
  • Undertaking exit interviews and attending Health and Safety Committee meetings


This role would suit a HR graduate who has gained previous experience and exposure to a HR environment. You will be looking to grow your HR capabilities and this role gives you the chance to become a subject matter expert for the team
