The role

This role is critical to helping us better understand and meet the needs of our people.  It will allow us to improve our decision making and to focus our efforts and resources on the things we know will make a difference.  This is an opportunity to join our team and help us meet our health and safety aspiration by putting people at the center of everything we do. 

We are looking for your deep analytical skills, the ability to identify and analyse data in detail and provide meaningful reports and insights that we can use for future initiative planning.

What you will bring

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Strong collaborative working style
  • Experience in data manipulation, analysis and management
  • Experience and skills in writing and managing queries from relationship databases (eg SQL, SAS or similar)
  • Excel or similar skills (skills and experience in Business Intelligence analytics would be beneficial)
  • Experience in information reporting, especially performance related reporting, preferably in an area supporting other teams in making strategic, management and operational decisions
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in turning raw data into valuable and relevant intelligence and insights, including developing new reports, reporting tools and frameworks and methodology
  • An understanding of Health and Safety preferred
